Job OverviewWe are commissioning a digital storyteller (such as a filmmaker, digital artist, or creative team) to produce an engaging, creative, and accessible output (referred to as ‘film’ throughout this brief, though we are open to other digital suggestions). The final work should be suitable for websites, YouTube, and social media.This commission is funded by the Pilgrim Trust and delivered through a collaboration with Adab, M13, MASH, Odd Arts, Stockport Women’s Centre, and The Counselling and Family Centre.Job Description
- Showcase the respective work of each organisation through short, standalone ‘chapters’ that can be used individually for promotion and awareness-raising.
- Produce a joined-up short film (maximum 15 minutes) highlighting the importance and impact of a dedicated young women’s mental health offer across Greater Manchester.
- Develop a creative digital output (“film”) that can be used by all six organisations as well as the Pilgrim Trust.
- Provide bite-sized ‘chapters’ for use by each organisation, in addition to the joined-up film.
- Work collaboratively with partners to capture stories, experiences, and impact in a safe, ethical, and accessible way.
- Attend partnership meetings, film in different locations, and co-design suitable content/interviewees with partner organisations.
- Ensure all outputs are accessible (e.g. subtitled) and aligned with the partnership’s trauma-informed values.
- Working creatively to tell an individuals’ story with the option to keep their identity private in line with guidance from each partnership organisation’s own policy/practise [Some services are confidential].
- We envisage that each organisation will receive digital content or short films of between 20 seconds and 2 minutes, alongside the overall partnership film.
