The Charity's objects ("the objects") are as follows:
(1) To act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 living in Greater Manchester by providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational, spiritual and other activities as a means of:
a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as interdependent, mature and responsible individuals;
b) advancing education;
c) relieving unemployment;
d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, ethnicity, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons.
e) promoting knowledge, understanding, respect and practice of the beliefs and practices of the Christian faith.
(2) To do the above in accordance with Christian principles and practices and in such a way that demonstrates Christian faith, care and concern, particularly for the needy and vulnerable, and upholds the values of equality, justice and the self-worth of the individual.
(3) To fulfill such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the charity.
